As I'm not a moderator on this forum, I apologize in advance for stepping on any toes but tank smells, and their resolution, might be best addressed in a new thread so as not to confuse folks as to the original intent of this particular thread.

You're right....unfortunately many folks...(me included) seem to post new threads within current threads on accident. The problem with this is if anybody wants to go back to something they have read...it can get difficult.

With that said though, this is a fun forum. I have been on forums that are very strict and they end up loosing the folks.

We'll be in Heights-town NJ and then to Old Orchard Beach on the 7th and 8th and then to Booth Bay Maine from the 9th to 13th. I'm going to see if lobster taste good with jack.

Lake George is a nice park. Won't be back to that part of the world until late August.

Left Top of Hill RV in Boerne, Tx this morning, nice place with beautiful views of Texas hill country, it's a multi-level park which is a little strange, but pull-thrus were long & level.

Camped at Americas Mailbox in Rapid City South Dakota for a couple of days. Changing our residency from California to South Dakota. Time to stop California from draining our funds.

We just spent the last three days at Turkey Run State Park in Marshall, IN. One if my favorite parks in Indiana and we were very pleased with pur site. We had lots of people stop by and tell us that our a Redwood was the best looking RV they'd ever seen.
Again we had lots of rain and I wondered if anyone has a solution to the rain gathering on the slide covers? We end up having to climb up and brush the water out because the fabric stretches and gathers huge amounts of water.

Ditto on the slide covers. It's one of the reasons we weren't sure if we wanted them or not... Definitely a pretty even split between yay or nay from what we have gathered. I understand they are pretty darn noisy in high winds too. We shall see. Too bad they can't make them more angled from back to front so the water could run off! That would help. Glad your trip went well!!

well...
you could always raise the front end so they drain, but rolling off the bed at night is NOT fun

fyi, a partially inflated beach ball in the center may not be purty, but makes it a high point to drain off...
