It was changed to 2200 lbs. a few weeks ago. However, the axle weight and pin weight does not addup the shipping weight as it does on otherfloor plans. Just trying to figure out the weights.

I'm sorry that I don't know anything about the 34sk but I'm sure others on this forum do and will be happy to help you. But anyway, welcome to our group and I hope you learn all you need to choose the right trailer for you and your family.

Melissa from Kittsmiller called us yesterday @4 PM to tell us ours rolled off the line yesterday, right on schedule. They will pick it up today, Friday, & take it to their dealership in Lansing MI to completely go through it. We have a 9:30 AM appointment next Wednesday for our walk through and delivery. This is very exciting!!! We live in FL. & are leaving tomorrow morning very early to start our long two day drive north to Flint MI on I-75 & wIll watch for other Redwoods on the road!!!

FYI for those who want know trivial information about the VIN. It has meaning and over 20 years ago I worked for a car dealership and used to know these by heart. I had to look it up love google!!

Here is John317's VIN:

4VOFC3425CROO2394

Here is what it means:

4VO is the World Manufacturer Identifier. This represents United States.
FC342 are the Vehicle Attributes. This could state for vehicles transmission, options etc. I would say the 34 is part of your model.
5 is a check digit (no meaning)
C is the year. All model years are letters then 1 - 9 then it repeats. C = 2012, D = 2013 etc
R is the plant code. Manufacturers decide on the codes for their plants but it is required in the VIN in this position.
OO2394 is a set of sequential numbers the manufacturer uses to identify the vehicle. I don't know if the company does these sequentially, it could be but I don't know.

For all you inquiring minds!!
Suzy

This is Wednesday, April 18, DELIVERY DATE FOR US!!! Naturally, we didn't sleep well last night, part of the fun! We're in Flint right now & were at the campground west of Claire, yesterday packing up everything in our old Carriage. We have a 9:30 AM appt this morning to do our walk through/inspection at Kittsmiller in Lansing. Then their truck driver follow us up to the campground to wait while we transfer everything & take away our Carriage trade in. We've been told by our sales gal Melissa that they have thoroughly checked everything. Needless-to-say, we can hardly wait!!Edited by: timmytfl

Got a call this morning from my dealer that my unit will be on their lot by 5/31/12 the Vin # is 4VOFC3425DR002394. Now with all the confusion about how you can tell if it is a 2013 or a 2012, I'm going to just wait until I pick it up to find out. I'm going to be happy with it either way. We are blessed beyond measure to be able to enjoy this lifestyle and the community of such a nice group of people as the RV Community are. We will soon be part of that Permagrin crowd. Got the call from the dealer today. My unit is on his lot being PDI'd. He said it is definitely a 2013. We have some things to do here at home but we will be leaving in 10 days to go to Colorado to pick it up. Wahooooo! We'll be all the way home.
