Gulf Waters is a lovely park, drove thru several times, but usually stay at Pioneer.

Yeah that's been a fighting debate in our family on which park to stay at. For us gulf waters is the place to go It's just pure peace and quiet until the beer train starts and everyone joins in a huge line and hit all lots visiting others But my sister decides to stay at pioneer because they just love that place but it seems a little to busy for us and trailers are way to close to each other. I gues to each there own. Once gulf waters finally re done their boardwalk to accept golf cars. It's been quite a challenge to get a reservation there

It looks rusted to me which makes me wonder how long this has been like that. We have owned this RW only two months. maybe it was that way when we bought it and I just didn't look close enough.

Doesn't appear to ever been greased as mine are pretty nasty looking, maybe that is partly the cause?

Ah, I understand now what broke. I wouldn't drive it. I hope Redwood came through for you today! That is something that should raise the eyebrows at both Lippert and Redwood (Lippert bought out Trailair)

Yes we called Lippert and then the mechanic called them because they were going to charge us 220. And the mechanic gets a better price. We will keep the broken parts to show RW at the Rally.

If you could find the part, it doesn't look like it would be a very hard fix.

Any chance it's still covered under the Lippert warranty? My understanding is that each supplier has their own warranty regardless of the RV Manufacturer.

When we gave them the number they didn't say anything about covering it. In fact they were going to charge us more and told us to get a cheaper price we had to have the mechanic call them. 240.00 for the part plus the overnight charge. an RV used only 7 months.

Think I would contact RW & just check as that is definitely a faulty part, worst they could do is say no.

We had a great trip across washington state to Montana then up to Alberta to see the grandkids. We didn't take the massive Hilton wheels we took little Hilton due to the route we took

We left Victoria BC via the Anacortes ferry, we took route 20 up through the cascade mountains this route was opened in the early 1970's and is closed during the winter. We stayed at Rasar State Park. The scenery through the mountains is awesome with large dams

There is a touristy town that is one of the main stops through this route a place called Winthrop

We made our way over to Coulee Dam and to Steamboat Rock State Park

We worked our way over to route 2 then across the remainder of Washington state and Idaho, don't blink, to Logan State Park

We planned to head up through Glacier National Park and the "going to the sun road" (this is only open in the summer as they do not plow the passes) but when we got there the pass was closed due to snow!! We were forced to go south down around the park, worked our way back up until we hit route 17 heading back into Alberta, I wouldn't advise this route if you're pulling anything of any size there were parts of the road missing, cows on the road, this route is not keep up at all, on a good note, I don't think the guy at the border had seen anybody for awhile as all he wanted to do was talk. Worked our way up to Waterton national park, everybody should have this place on their list

From here we worked our way up hugging the base of the mountains, route 22 then headed east to High River this was hit with a massive flood last year and there was still new subdivisions still boarded up from here we went east to the end of the road to a little place called Milo then headed north to Drumheller known for its dinosaur and Hoodoo's

From here we headed north to Fort Saskatchewan to visit the grand kids. Great trip in all
