I remember someone doing that and I always meant to, I just never got around to it. Didn't even think of the floor safe, but I remember the shoe boxes. That black nose would get warm.
When moving out of ours I found the keys that went to the floor safe, which reminded me we even had one. I opened it and found 200 rounds of .45 I left there when we first went to pick it up! Yippee
One of the advantages of getting old and forgetful, every turn is a new path even if its the one you just came from.
