Temperature Monitoring System

Planning on a trip to Arizona next year and taking our dogs. Can’t take them everywhere we go so they will have to stay in RV at times. I’m looking for recommendations for an inside temperature monitoring system that will alert me once temperature gets to a pre-set number. I see several on Amazon that use a cell phone connection to alert you. Anyone tried these, or have a recommendation. Thanks.

We used a Motorola baby monitor that alerted us on the cell phone if the temp dropped out of the parameters we set. Also had auto start on the generator if the power went out. You need to have wifi hooked up in the traier for it to work

That’s an awesome idea. I never would have thought of a baby monitor. Thank you.

We also use a baby monitor .. ours is an Arlo .. It gives us a live picture feed via the internet , also temp and humidity ..It too alerts us via text if we go outside the the temp and humidity limits .. We also installed a Generator auto start that will trigger if shore power goes down and will shut off when power is resumed .. We also installed soft starts on A/C units so there would be no issue in starting both units when generator fires up..

Thank you. I'll start looking at both camera and auto start on gen.
