We have been here in Shipshewana South Campground for a week now. Had the privilege of helping with the CrossRoads Rally presenting seminars for a group of right at 100 owners.

Now, RV maintenance training day 3 of 5 ....with a group of consumers here at the park. We will stay at this location most of August, as well.

Loving the cool weather and the laid back community of Shipshewana. The Professor and I will be waiting for all of you to arrive for the Redwood Rally.
See you soon!

We are in Gold Ranch RV Park, NV just off I80013.jpg014.jpg. Great park. Elko, NV next on our way home to Maryland.

Love Glacier! We will be headed there in September for our third time exploring one of the most beautiful parks. The little Hilton would be nice to have when roads won't accommodate the bigger RV. Thanks for sharing your photos!

My dealer had to fight with RW and lippert they replaced the spring but had to use the ext warranty for labor. Picked the unit up and less than 25 miles the other spring broke just like yours. I replaced all 4 with Dexter spring they look to be a much beefier spring. Also the same time mine was in the shop someone with a travel trailer came in that had a broken lippert spring.

Because our Redwood had been owned before the manufacturer will not stand behind it, even though it was owned for only 5 months. Knowing that, we purchased an extended warranty through Tiara RV that is an All State policy. We've had our Redwood only two months when the equalizer spring broke. We contacted Good Sam for the number of reputable dealers in the Bar Harbor, ME area......The first one looked at it and said good luck....he couldn't fix it. The second one was great and All State stood behind their policy 100%. In fact the mechanic said he had never had such an easy time filing a claim and getting paid. I will remember this if the other spring breaks and replace them with a different brand.

It's sad that Redwood, or any other RV manufacturer, will only honor the original owner. If a warrantee is for 2/5 years it should be valid for the entire time from original date of purchase, not limited to the original owner!!!

Glad your Extended Warranty covered the repair.

Did you call Good Sam for the number of a reputable dealer? You should not have to wait for batteries that's crazy. Summer is almost over and your RW is stuck in storage? Kids around us start school next week and the week after.

currently in Lazy J RV park in Rapid City SD, spotted another redwood parked in the next row. People from Ohio heading to Glacier and Yellowstone. Going to Mount Rushmore before heading east to trade trucks and then to rally.

At Dakota Magic Casino on the I-29 at the North/South Dakota state line. Concrete pad, grass on both sides with 30 Amp, water and sewer for $10/night. Definitely not 7 Feathers in Oregon, but great for a 1 or 2 night stop.

Off to Albert Lea/Austin KOA tomorrow for 4 nights, Rockford for a night then Shipshewana on Monday

Can anyone recommend a good campground in the Lake George, NY region that is open through the month of October?

We like Ledgeview but I'm not sure if it stays open until end of October. We are headed that way towards the end of September. Another nice park is Lake George RV Park but I'm thinking they close mid-October

Ledgeview seems to be the only one I haven't called. Everyone else closes Columbus Day weekend.

We're now at Vallecito Reservoir outside of Durango, CO. This area must be the Redwood capital of the West as we've seen more Redwoods in this area than we've seen anywhere else combined!
