is it for a Factory Puck System?

Yes it is for the factory puck
There is a capture plate ( included) which is used to operate the slider on the hitch
It is made by pullrite and you can look at it at pullrite. com

I am very familiar with their products, I pulled 3 different fifth wheel with my old Pullrite. I would NEVER use anything else if towing with a Short Box..

I just saw you have a Chevy... I do not believe the puck systems are interchangeable between Ford-Chevy-Ram... If they were, I may have thought about it for my brother in law...

To add a little more confusion, I know GM 2020 and newer dont share the same puck system as the 2019 and older. So if this was for your 2015 GM truck it can NOT be use on a 2020 GM truck!
