Been considering a T-Rex grill for my truck as that's the only one I can find that I like. I'm just not a huge fan of chrome to be honest.

I like the grill but I'm having some issues with it. It comes powdercoated a nice shiny black. The first one went to a "flat black" in about 6 months and they replaced it under warranty (although it did cost me $65.00 to ship the old one back). The new one is only about 6 weeks old and I think is doing the same thing ........

When I put the grill in, I got an aftermarket king Ranch surround and had it painted as I'm not a huge chrome fan either. I'm thinking I may try and get them to credit me towards a Stainless Upper Class mesh grill. Think that along with the painted shell might be just right.......

If you're interested in a good selection of grilles, try these folks.

My DW made it out of an old bag we had for some outside chairs we no longer have, thought it would help keep UV from cracking hitch bags. I've got a friend with a DRV & has replaced the air bags at least twice due to cracking.

Hmmm....interesting point. I wonder if it would make any sense to treat the bag with some kind of protectant/conditioner.

Patent it! I would buy one

One of the reasons I got the 5th airborne on my last rig was to shelter the bag...or old bag....or DW...er whatever. However, this hitch is superior and even though it is ugly, I wouldn't go back to the 5th airborne.

I use a Megiures product (not handy to see specific name) similar to Armorall, don't like Armorall too glossy & oily, dirt, bugs always sticking to it.

Patenting might be a good plan as I looked to purchase one, but failed to find one, so we designed our own.

I tried looking for a cover for our hitch as well. Zip, zilch, nada... We tend to face the nose into the sun when given a choice so the hitch sees a lot of UV...

We have one that covers ours. It is made of the same material as the skirting. IT also has a hole in the bottom in case you want to put on a king pin stabilizer.

Funny, I think the same thing. I feel sad for those with large 5th wheels and standard pin boxes!

Anyone that has a air ride hitch. Been thinking about one of these. Hate the look of the pin box. It just looks unfinished.
