Tail/Brake light connection

Does anyone know if my 39MB is pre-wired for tail/brake lights for the hitch on the back? I've looked but have not taken anything apart. Thought it may be hidden in some little cubby hole I can't see

I looked for one on our 2015 RL-38 , couldn't find one. Best I could figure out was removing the taillights and installing a wiretap on the taillight pig tails. You would not have electric brakes, but you could get it set up for reverse, left turn/ stop, right turn/ stop and parking lights.

The early RWs were pre-wired. Our very early (March 2015) 39MB is NOT.

I'm fairly certain our Redwood is not either.

You know that piece of wire to run from the front to the rear could break the Bank at RW, some deleted to save big bucks.

I may just have to do that myself. We have 3 wheel bikes that I have built a carrier for that bolts onto one of those metal carriers that fit into the receiver. It sticks out enough that I thought for a little added protection I would put lights on it, plus the bikes kind of block the trailer lights a little. Thanks everyone for looking.

Keep an eye on that receiver and platform when hauling. I wouldn’t trust a lot of weight back there bouncing down the highway. The motion at the back is repetitious plus amplified and can quickly fatigue the metal if that platform isn’t stable. I’ve seen some crazy things pass me on the highway.

Agree, we broke over a little rise up in Maine to find a complete bike rack with bikes in the travel lane. We saw them with enough time to avoid them.
Figure someone will have a surprise when the stop and find their bikes gone.

Yes drj564, I have it strapped to the frame of the 5th wheel so that it does not move up or down or side to side. Its rated for 300 lbs. and my bikes weigh about 90 lbs. each so with the platform I know I am close. I have my camera pointed down so I watch them periodically.
