We're booked to attend. Wondering what to expect. Would be the first time seeing that many RW all together. Hope I don't walk into the wrong rig! Maybe I should customize the lower front a little for easier recognition.

I finally made our reservations for the Redwood Rally this August. We are tentatively scheduled to be in Site 99. This will be our 3rd factory rally including 2012 and 2013. Looking forward to seeing everyone. I am suspecting that there will be well over 40 Redwoods there this year.

2015 Redwood Rally

Hi Everyone,

For those of you attending the rally I need to get your shirt sizes. I sent out an email this morning to everyone I had an email address for but there are still several that I do not have. You can send me an email to kfuller@redwoodrv.com, give me your name site spot if you have it and sizes.

Thanks!

We will be discussing where to hold the 2016 rally at this years rally.

Yes, it is so far for us west coasters. Maybe at least somewhere in the midwest. We came last year, but it was almost 3500 miles round trip. We would love to come, but the expense is yikes!

The current rally is the "factory centered" rally. It was originally organized for that purpose. But, if others wish to organize one or more additional rallies elsewhere, go have fun folks.

You're right hoosierguy, up to now the rallies have all been factory centered and help in Shipshewana IN. When the folks at last years rally were posed with the question of future rallies, most voiced their desire to "move it around to different parts of the country".

In discussions with Redwood, they indicated that they have no objection with this but requested we hold it in Indiana every other year.

Thoughts???

Hoosier Guy,
I just called the campground and was confirmed for Site 99. I just read these posts and you seem to be slated for the same site. Did you confirm via credit card or just a tentative booking?

Brad,

The gal I talked to told me that we were tentatively assigned to Site 99, and yes, I confirmed with a credit card. She said that they could not guarantee a site assignment and it might change by the time we arrive, but, we would definitely be with the Redwood grouping. They probably tell that to everyone!! HaHa!

I am hoping that can start an EARNEST conversation about "Satellite" rallies... in other parts of the country. I know that a small group got together in Q (Quartzite Az) this past January and we hope to attend that soon. However, Q is for boondocking, and while we LOVE boondocking, it's not for everyone. Our RWs do not come from the factory setup for doing that comfortably. I have a good park in mind over here on the West Coast in the Columbia River Gorge that is THE BOMB and would be a perfect spot for a mini-rally in the months of July-Sept. I would love to have regional conversations about this. Maybe a new topic: "REGIONAL RW RALLIES" ?? THOUGHTS???

What park in the gorge did you have in mind? Maybe I've missed it in all our travels.
