Russ:
I have the RL and same truck (you didn't mention if it 4x4 or not) w/8' bed and Reese Elite hitch which is adjustable. Also have the TrailAir TriGlide pinbox. In order to level my rig, I had to adjust the hitch to the lowest adjustment which is 14". How low you can go is somewhat dependent on the clearance between the bed rail on your truck and the underside of your Redwood. Mine has 7" which is adequate for me. The other thing to keep an eye on is the clearance between the hitch and bedrail when approaching 90 deg backing into a site.
