On our way back east to Indiana from Lacey, Washington. Was in the mid-80s on Saturday, 70s on Monday in Spokane Valley, 60's in Butte, Montana on Tuesday, down to 31 on Wednesday night in Sheridan, Wyoming with 2 to 3 inches of snow on Thursday morning and drove in snow all day today (Thursday) and temp ranging 31 to 35 for 200 miles. We are in Custer, South Dakota tonight and expecting a low temperature around 16 degrees. Planning to stay here until Sunday to take a break and revisited Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Chief Crazy Horse and the area in general.

The drive was beautiful. This is the first time we have had our RW out in this kind of weather. So far, so good.k

Mostly local camping trips this summer, as it was beautiful up here in the Pacific Northwest this year. And of course Murphy's law, my husband suddenly had some work coming up (he is semi retired). We love camping at Silver Lake, WA. But we did manage a trip end of July, first of August for 3 weeks to Swan Valley Idaho, and down into Utah visiting relatives. Idaho is beautiful country, especially Swan Valley on the Snake river. Great trip. Cannot wait to get out on the road again, hopefully Feb, March and April.

OMG Oregonbound. We live in Battle Ground, WA right next to Vancouver, WA. Welcome and congratulations on the job. You will like it here in Washington a lot more than you would in Oregon. Where are you going to stay in WA.? How long do you plan to be here?
