All the best to you folks and we sincerely wish you the best in this new chapter. Have you thought about what toad you'll be hitching to the rear of that beauty?
Hi Tom...yes for now we'll use a car dolly with the VW TDI Passat. Later I'm planing on getting a big trailer. Non of my cars can be towed 4 down and after buying this, my budget for cars is used up.

We enjoyed meeting you folks in "Jersey" and hope to meet up with you and your beautiful dogs again. We'll be back out there to visit family again sometime this year.

Thanks Yale and Tammy and please stay in touch. We're looking forward to the new rig but will sure miss the truck.

Only 2 more days and they seem to be dragging on.

Happy Trails!

Dave, I enjoyed meeting you and Ginny at your home and having the opportunity to discuss the Redwood product with you. I have really enjoyed reading your posts and learning many new things about our Redwoods. We have also looked at diesel pushers over the years but can't convince ourselves to make the leap. I hope you have many years of enjoyment in your new coach and check back every once in a while to let us all know how things are going.

Ok everyone, take notice. Every time we send a message to Dave & Ginny, they reply. So, if we keep saying good-bye, he has to reply and will never leave. So everyone do their part.

Dave & Ginny, Congrats but we are not going to say goodbye!

Thanks Homeguy but I'm just trying to be polite....and sorry folks but that won't work. I'm leaving Friday afternoon to pick up the Entegra on Saturday. I had promised Andy R that I'd stick around until he had recruited some help which he has done. So in a few days I'll be leaving so the new moderators can take over. I don't want to get in their way and there's plenty of other folks on here with just as much experience as I have in RVs including both of the new moderators.

Many of you have warmed my heart with your comments though, so even though I thought this was a thankless job...it wasn't

Today was a heck of a day that started at 7am and we finally left the lot at 5pm. I had no idea we has so much unneeded stuff. It was pouring rain all day so they brought both units inside. Heavy winds and rain made driving something new a bit challenging. Hopefully we'll have better weather tomorrow for the rest of the trip home

We're still finding spots for everything and when we get home we'll be eliminating a lot of stuff. The Redwood has better closet space so we have to get better at using the massive basement.

Ginny really had a ruff time of parting with the Redwood.

Send me an email and I'll send the pics

Dave and Ginny have fun with your new rig. Yup storage is a slight problem in a motorhome...at least upstairs. Downstairs you have enough space to carry all the supplies you need to rebuild any coach and chairs of all sizes. We had a forty footer and emptied all we could before switching to our Redwood and after moving in we still have more space than we need and use.(upstairs) Downstairs is still an issue with me and my tools.
