Freshwater overflows

When we have the hose disconnected from the fresh water tank connection and it is connected to the city water connection, the fresh water tank overflows. Could there be a faulty check valve somewhere? Where should I look for the problem? 2016 39MB Redwood. lvclark2@gmail.com

I believe there is a ck valve in the water pump. If you can get to the pump, remove the suction line from the fresh water tank to the pump and if water is coming out of the pump then the pump ck valve is bad and allowing city water to overfill the fresh water tank.

install a shurflow Pentair 340-001 check valve inline and be done with the problem if it is the water pump.

try turning off the city water and blead off some of the water pressure and run the pump for a minimum of two or three starts and stops. 90% of the time this fixes the leaking check valves in the pumps.
