Lug Nut Torque, 2017 Redwood 3901MB

Just bought a 2017 Redwood 3901MB. Going through my shakedown, and want to check that the lug nuts are torqued properly (not too loose, not too tight).

I don’t have a specific manual, but had Lippert send me the axle manual. Unfortunately it doesn’t discuss my specific axles, and the table doesn’t list mine.

I have 8K axles, ST215/75R17.5H tires, 9/16” lug stud, cone lug nut, 7/8” wrench.

Does anyone know the proper torque value? I’ll guess 150lb/ft, but would like to have the actual spec.

Try this torque chart from Lippert.
This should cover what you are asking for and more.

Thanks for responding! But, same issue I’m having with their axle manual: I can’t find my specific information...

I have 8K axles, ST215/75R17.5H tires, 9/16” lug stud, cone lug nut, 7/8” wrench.

130 to 140, I generally tighten mine to 130 and haven't lost a wheel yet.

Same as Michelle! I was told 120 to 140 so as she said 130 has worked well!
I was taught that when re installing the wheel torque it, travel a couple hundred miles then re-torque & done til wheel is removed again.

I have a 2020 3401 with 8000 lb Lippert axles. The rims are marked as HiSpec and it has 215/75/17.5 H rated Tires. The HiSpec website shows torque for 9/16" lug nuts as 120-140 ft-lbs. Hope this helps.

What about MorRyde IS system, should you go with 140 ft lbs as well?
