Are the standard wheels on a 2013 36RL aluminum wheels or steel?

Can you tell they didn't give me a owner's manual or much info on the Camper? :-)
Thy looking at the Sailun G rated tire... A very good alternative to the Goodyear.. Its a Chinese tire that is made to the American Standards..
there are a ton of folks over on the other forum I visit that have switched...They ALL have had ZERO issues with them

Mike, the subwoofer is behind the fireplace. You can get to it from the drawer if it is still there. They probably unplugged it, or it my not be setup. And for wheels, yours are probably the T03, had to look at my invoice.

My guess is that it is still there given the age of the previous owners and the fact that I can't even figure out how to get behind this fireplace...I've pulled the drawers out and the desk thing and can't see any access. There is an outlet on the left of the fire place behind the locking drawer but I'm assuming that is for the fireplace.

The fireplace come out pretty easily. If I remember correctly, 2 screws at the top and 2 at the bottom, all along the edge. Remove them and slide it out. The sub-woofer is behind there. Yes, the outlet you see is for the fireplace.

Just visited my camper to find some things, etc. checked the tire pressure, cold, and everyone of the tires is set at 60 psi...holy crap...did the dealer do that on purpose or what? As if the Marathons are not bad enough, they had them at 60 when 80 is the cold pressure number! Ugh....now I need to find a place close enough to hook up and get to so I can fill to 80. Ugh

A good investment would be a small 12v compressor that will air to 120psi. They are relatively cheap and some even have a battery charge and boost built in to them.

The moral of the story for when you take delivery: check every inch of the unit including the lug torque and tire pressure. Why I assumed I could count on the dealer doing that is beyond me. But at least the dealer is coming to my rig to properly inflate the tires and check the lugs.

Thank you for all the tips, advice, and suggestions for good tools. I've got lots but what guy doesn't want more tools...especially electronic ones :-)

I'll post again another tire/wheel option. If looking to upgrade tires and your OEM rims won't handle the increased pressure, thus requiring new rims also. Why not just bite the bullit and move all the way to 17.5" wheels with H rated tires. Then you can put 99.9% of tire issues behind you.

I always feel confident knowing if I don't neglect the tires or run them beyond their service life, Goodyear will pay for repairs if they pop. I don't know of another tire company that has demonstrated they will do that.

Now on the other hand, I run the G614. My last rig came with Marathon's, and they were gone before it left the lot. This one came from the factory with G614 as an option. I won't run an ST tire on these heavy rigs anymore.

I would agree, I ran the Sailun S637 "G" Rated tire on our last 5er for many trouble free miles

Thanks Mike and Paula! Laramie is about as far as we go and now that I'm on the alumni board I know I will get there once a year for sure. Basically we go an hour or less from Omaha as we are both full time realtors and that allows us to get back and work, but the kids get away. Apple picking in Nebraska City; tons of shade, a pool, and disk golf on Lincoln; and Lake for our three Newfies in Onawa...all an hour radius.

Some day we will go farther...Tammie is from Calgary and her mom and brother are still up there so we hope to do a serious haul up there (and yes, I plan to fish!)

Thankfully I've got a buddy who guides in Laramie so he's been teaching my wife and some of our eight kids over the last several years how to fly fish...while he gets me on good water :-).

We love the Redwood and just spent an hour hanging out in it at the storage place just to relax...but can't wait to take her to Laramie and really enjoy her.

Didn't Atom Ant post one, or a link, on here about a month ago?

I'm not forum savvy enough to know how to pull up older messages. If there is a way to access archives, or again set up that "what you need to know" folder I suggested, please let me know. It would surely come in handy for everyone.

Thanks.

Thanks, Brad.

I actually looked up, as in ^, for a change and we do have a library on the forum. It's there. You probably posted for us months ago.
