Maxx Fans? How many do you need?
Just wondering, since we've never had a Maxx Fan..... Are they effective, and how many would you recommend having? I assume the kitchen and bathroom are obvious places, but would you recommend placing one in the bedroom?

I have one in the dinning room and bedroom. They are wonderful when the weather is nice outside and you do not want to run the AC. Crack a few windows open and turn them on and they will definitely pull a breeze through the RV. I love mine in the bedroom and the smell of fresh air and the noise at night. The one in the kitchen is great in pulling humidity out when cooking. I do not have one in the bathroom and do not know if I would have wanted one there. When using the shower I have the vent on, I squeegee the shower walls and doors upon completion of the shower and use a small hand towel to wipe the wallboard above the shower enclosure. I have black vent caps over all my fans and will actually leave the bathroom vent partially open but not on at all times.

Our bathroom and kitchen Maxx's are great. Variable speed, reversible, rain sensing and thermostat control are very useful features.

I wish I would have got one in the bedroom. Because we did not, there is just nothing there. I would have at least liked something to open or the additional light.

I had 3, one in the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. It was a great setup and if I was ordering I'd do it the same again. I did have covers on all of mine because I didn't trust the rain sensors and I wanted to leave them open while going down the road in all weather. Also, we don't full time so in the summer I left them all open while not in use to help reduce heat buildup.

We have only one and that's in the kitchen. Based upon how well the kitchen fan operates, I would absolutely love to have one in the bathroom and bedroom.

Have 4, kitchen, bedroom, lavatory, & toilet. They had a Fantastic Fan over the toilet & had it replaced with Maxx with the wall switch, why they had it different I don't know, but you had to stand up to open it which seemed a little awkward. I have covers on all & set the auto button when traveling so it's not so hot inside. Would highly recommend them in every spot.

We have both reversible in kitchen and bathroom. They are the best fans I have had in an rv. The bathroom one set to vent outside will sucks the toilet paper right off the roll

So effective - you get to sample the aroma of your business on the way up, and no escape

We only had the Kitchen and Bath in our RL, but ordered Kitchen, Bath and Bedroom for the MB. We use the one in the Bedroom in reverse mode to bring air in and dump it right on the Bed, makes it a ceiling fan for the Bedroom without the worry of hitting the blades.

We have 3, Maxx Air's, 1 in the bedroom, 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the Kitchen.
Had a gearbox fail on the bedroom fan, Maxx Air sent me two replacement gearbox's at no charge

We have the one Maxair in the kitchen and only use it sparingly. We have powered vents in the bathroom and bedroom that are not Maxair, which we use all the time to pull moisture out. We are happy with this setup and would order the same way if we were to do it again.

We have two, one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. It was a mistake not ordering the bedroom. Maxx Aire is also great to deal with if there's a problem

So you got a power vent over the bed without the Maxair option?

Yes, both the stool room and the vent over the bed are exhaust fans and not Maxair. Assumed they all had that if you didn't order Maxair fans in those areas.

I thought mine would be that way, but without the Maxair in the bedroom, I just have ceiling.

Brad, we're with you. I though that at least we would a normal non-power vent without a fan, and was shocked when we got nothing above the Bed. So I made sure to order all three for this MB.
