If you want to save the cost of a new bracket run the TV electrical plug over to the receptacle located in the next cabinet below the booster (after you go through the hassle of getting the TV off the bracket!). The TV will come off the bracket much easier the next time you have to remove it!
I had the same problem & did exactly the same thing, not sure how they got there the first time unless they built the cabinet around it.

We just brought a 2016 GK, and need a copy of the TV diagram to hook up the outside tv. I've been racking my brains for the last two weeks. Love my REDWOOD..

Sat. and Cab connections in RW

This in my opinion is one of the most confusing set ups I have come across in the the RW. I have figured out most everything else. But these connections are simply inexplicable for the common challenged, slow, dummies like myself to understand. Look at how old this thread is. And still getting head scratching responses.

If it is like my 2014 38GK, the outside tv has 2 coax cables.

One is orange. It is a direct feed from the entertainment slide used for integration with satellite systems. Wiring from the satellite systems/receivers will vary depending on your equipment.

The other is grey (or black). It is used for CATV input from the convenience center OR OTA,

Hope that helps,

Ken

I bought an inexpensive coax tracer to find the routing in my 36FL.

Even with using the toner, I can not find the other end of the black coax that is the park cable tv input.

Xtasee,
The toners I have used never seem to function when splitters are in line. They work fine for direct runs.

Thanks Ken, I guess it could be wired into a splitter in the basement. I will probably get the dealer to find it when I take it back for a little warranty issue.

I have found all of the other cables. Orange, White, Grey but not the black one.....

We had a similar problem locating the proper coax that does the satellite from the convenience center. RW said underneath the street side slide, find where the wire loom goes up behind the entertainment center. Pull it down and you will find all the coax and they are joined with barrel connectors. On the assembly line, the guys don't always connect the proper coax to the proper coax. Switched some around till we got it

I used a toner on mine. All it really did is panic me. After a 1/2 day of assuming several of my cables were shorted or disconnected, I just hooked it up to the drawing and everything worked perfect.

The end of the park cable goes directly to the antenna booster which a splitter of sorts also. On the back of the booster is the cable from the OTA & a park cable into it & one cable out to the splitter in bedroom ceiling. At least that's the way mine is!! Kinda like a search a find puzzle, WHERE'S WALDO?

We have '15 38GK, no satellite, cable/antenna only. Our park has service thru direct TV. We were told by the mgmnt that we need to upgrade the splitter to one with 2000mhz since the one we have is max of 900 in order to get all stations. We get HD and all 70 stations in the bedroom, however, in the living room we get only 30 stations. Spoke with Tom @ RW he told us the splitter we need to change out should be in the bedroom ceiling, accessible thru the LED light, wasn't sure which one. We looked into each one, including hallway and bathroom, not there. He emailed me a copy of the wiring diagram, which confirms that it should be there. The only splitter we can find is behind the living rm tv and it has orange cables attached which should be for splitting the satellite signal. We do have a gray cable coming in to the connection at the tv in the living room. When we connect the lvg rm tv directly to the post at the site, we get all of the stations in HD. There is a black cable coming from the docking port which we have connected to the post at the site.
HELP.......Does anyone know where the splitter for the cable is located?

While at Disney I connected to their cable and had trouble at first. The problem I found was that the Antenna amplifier in the bedroom had to be off. Once I did this, I had cable on all the TV's.

Oh, the amplifier acted as a splitter. One cable coming in, 2 going out.
