I'm with Rosey, only upgrade is heavy duty shackles, bronze bushings, maybe when I win the billion dollar lottery I may upgrade to IS, otherwise I'll stick with what's on there.

FWIW, my height only changed about 1" when MOR Ryde did my IS. Sergio measured coach before and after and also weighed before and after. We were 13'2" before and using the same setup (coach hooked to truck and in the bay) we were 13'3"

Not sure why Ron's picked up 4"

I wonder if was looking at the 4" sub-frame they added to attach the IS too and thinks it raised his coach 4".
Before they install the IS, they measure Frame to Ground clearance and add the correct size sub-frame to keep the heigth the same or nearly the same.

4" would be a pain - you would have to drop down all 6 jacks to compensate, and maybe adjust the hitch or pin box.

Not sure exactly how much the center point air suspension lifted my rig, but I did have to lower the 4 rear jacks. Front were ok.

Mine went up about 4" when I installed the Centerpoint which worked fine for me. Trailer sits at 13' 8"

We are 13- 2 height from factory just as yours is, did you gain any more height after installation of IS, and if so how much.
I know 13 ft 6 in is legal height throughout USA, but don"t really want to be that high, as concerned about some campgrounds.

Jeff - mine was/is within 1" of before and after. I was 13'2" and after I'm not quite 13'3"

We had the IS added to our 1st 5er, a Montana and again to our 2012 36RL and neither one of them required any adjustment to King Pin Box or Hitch. Both we level before and after. Again Mor/ryde measures the Frame to Ground clearance and then adds the correct size sub frame to maintain that same clearance. Now do to material sizes you might end up slightly higher, but if you were raised 4" I would think you'd have to adjust the King Pin, hitch. or both to get back to level, unless you were really nose low to start.

And lower the jacks I assume. Mine would definately overstroke on 4" of change

Hi Vaughn, It was good hearing from you, thanks for the advise, really thinking hard about IS system, hope everything is alright with the family, hope you had a Merry Christmas and are having an awesome New Year.
We sure are enjoying our retirement, kinda of amazes me at different times, that I'm going somewhere and I should be at work, but I'm not. Hope the feeling never ends.

Hi Brad, thank you for all the advise you have shared with me since we started this journey, I hope that someday I can be of service to you, you had asked about the bike rack and if I could open the back storage compartment, that would be a no, looks like I would have to remove the rack to do that.
Just keeping things in there that will only need once in a while.

Have sent to Moryde customer service for information on IS system regarding height issues, also mentioned SRE 4000 not being adaptable to 8K axle upgrade.
Will share info when they reply, and try to post their direct reply if I can figure this Forum out.
Computers came a little late for me, not to teck savy.

Just an FYI on this topic: Mor/ryde added a 4" sub-frame to ours to keep the height near normal, but it didn't raise the RW by four inches either.

Same here ~ my before and after was within an inch in coach height. If I had picked up 4" there are a bunch of bridges here on the East Coast I would be very afraid of ............

Not to mention the difference in handling if the coach sat 4" higher

Jeff,
We had the IS and Disc brakes installed at Mor/ryde last June on our 2015 39 MB. They also added the 4" sub-frame to ours. They measure EVERYTHING prior to starting the job and try to get the coach as level as possible. When they were done, they measured the height and we are at an even 13'. I was surprised because I was expecting it to be higher. I checked it myself upon returning home and got the same as they did. I can't say enough about the IS and even more about the service from Mor/ryde. The BEST

I forgot to mention...they also weigh the coach at each wheel and install rubber springs based on the individual weights. Based on the "weigh in", I moved up to the 8K suspension. I was within the 7K limits but very close so we went to 8K
