How many folks added the MorRyde IS

When at their facility in June, Rob told me that he believed there were 9 or 10 folks scheduled to add the IS either before or after the rally..

I wonder just ho many actually added it to their coach at any time ??

head count ? -

Our '16 39MB was actually added during the Manufacturing process.
Our '12 36RL was added after 1 year after ownership.
Our '10 Montana 2955RL was also added after 1 year of ownership.

Was going to do it in the up coming years, but due to axle damage going to the rally this year, mine is there waiting to be done.

I had the IS and Disc Brakes installed on my Redwood 7/28 & 7/29 prior to the Rally this year.

Was originally just going to upgrade to the Disc Brakes while at the Rally this year but decided to go ahead and do both the IS and Disc Brakes together.

I did the Titan Disc Brakes install in July, and had the IS suspension installed this month. We've only towed about 200 miles since the install; however, the improvement in ride is readily apparent!

Had my 38RL done in May 2016. Have towed about 2200 miles since and what a difference it has made.

We had IS installed in Feb 2016. Has made a big difference. Lippert suspension broke twice. Second time was 30 miles out of Elkhart, Indiana in Feb. We now can travel and not worry about the suspension.

I notice......Not one person has lost a wheel or axle after the IS system was installed. And on top of that, most of the folks that had the system installed are the ones that travel the most. This is proof of the quality and safety of the system. In my opinion, Redwood and other rigs in the same weights should come with these even if it means adding dollars to the purchase price.

At a bear minium the IS should be an option. Those of us who have been around for a while would add it in a heartbeat.

I think a bear minimum is an under carriage not engineered to the minimum requirements. Really, how much more would it cost to have it designed to 18k instead of 14k.

I would have preferred not to spend the money on the IS.

I have had a number of Towable RVs over the years from PopUp's to Travel Trailer's and 5th Wheel's, this is the first one I have had the IS installed and Disc Brakes installed on, very impressed with the upgrade.
It was a good chunk of change to install the IS but as much as I travel, well worth the investment.
I will probably trade / purchase again before I retire in a few years but now with all the upgrades, fixes and improvement's to my Redwood, not ready to trade anytime soon

Yesterday while towing our RL over to the storage lot for a temporary stay a truck pulled out in front of me.
Not a doubt in my mind that if I still had the electric brakes I would've hit him. And hard. The power of the discs never ceases to amaze me.

On our way back from the rally in 3 lane heavy traffic with everyone running 70 this idiot cut over from the left lane to the far right and almost came to a stop. Cars went every direction. I stomped on the brakes so hard the trailer tires locked up and the trailer started to go sideways. Luckily we got slowed down enough to miss everything. Without the discs I would have mowed that little car over. THANKS AGAIN RON
