I have a 2013 36RL and I just made a change to my towing vehicle. I have purchased a 2013 GMC 3500 crew cab with the 6 foot bed. I am putting in a B&W Companion hitch. Does anyone have a similar setup and if so can you tell me which height setting you use on the hitch? My trailer is 200 miles away from where I am getting my hitch and I want to make sure it is adjusted correctly before I leave the hitch dealer.

I have the B&W w/companion set up in my Ram 3500 w/8 foot box and TrailAir, Air ride Pin box.
The arms on my hitch are in the top/rear set of holes.

Russ:

I have the RL and same truck (you didn't mention if it 4x4 or not) w/8' bed and Reese Elite hitch which is adjustable. Also have the TrailAir TriGlide pinbox. In order to level my rig, I had to adjust the hitch to the lowest adjustment which is 14". How low you can go is somewhat dependent on the clearance between the bed rail on your truck and the underside of your Redwood. Mine has 7" which is adequate for me. The other thing to keep an eye on is the clearance between the hitch and bedrail when approaching 90 deg backing into a site.
