Maybe because they are no longer all white today. Color fading would be much more noticeable. Don't forget the $$$ it would probably take to eliminate it.

Mine was still under warranty and the dealer had the approval to paint, within 15 or 20 minutes of submitting pictures. It was not even the dealer we bought from.

The fading is not paint. It is the molded color. The painted trailers don't do this. The only paint is the tan on the lower sides.
