Steve I think you are right. During my research period I found mentions of manufacturers that said they would not cover warranty issues and then some that would, sometimes they said both yes and no....

I have a Trail Air RotoFlex from Lippert. I can't imagine it being much more comfortable. If it didn't give that push and pull motion once in while I am afraid I would forget it was there.

I confess I forgot to lock mine once but only made it to the end of the street before I remembered. Also in Canada it is considered a gooseneck mount and safety chains are required. I use them.
