That's good and bad.....if you ever loose or damage your remote, you have to replace both the receiver and transmitter. The receiver (control module) is easy enough to replace. I had to replace one last winter when it was acting up.

UPDATE ON CENTERPOINT........
Just got home from my install and what an improvement. Porpoisin has almost dissappeared. The Redwood doesn't have near the tailsway, and you dont feel any aftershock from potholes. None of the IItems on the counter tops moved at all after a 160 mile ride through Nashville, down I-40, and through the woods. Got to be better on the trailer due to less vibration. VERY PLEASED!!!!

Now.....as far as price, USAF 1949 and myself lucked out and got it for half the price. Seemes that Camping World and Lippert goofed and the website price is for ONE bag assy, no hardware. But they made good and overnited the correct kit and installed.

You will love it!!!!
Got a few thousand miles on mine now, no problems.
I installed a set of Monroe Reflex shocks on the axles (had to build mount kit from scrach)
WOW !! THAT IS HOW YOU MAKE A REDWOOD DISSAPPEAR! !
I feel no movement from fifth at all, F 350 rides rougher without redwood now.

I admire one who tries their best with what they have to work with.

Brian,
That is interesting, I had a 2012 F350 SRW. When we took our 2014 F450 for a test drive, DW really noticed a significant difference in the ride....it was much nicer. The F350 was terrific towing under load but unhooked, it was pretty stiff.

I just added the new TrailAir pinbox and the center point suspension. Lippert did the install at Quartzsite. Sure was a nice ride!

Go figure....I believe that trucks have ride personality. I purchase work trucks that are exactly equipped, and never find two alike. I had an 08 F 450 that I referred to as a concrete block with seat belts.....I cussed more in that truck going down the road than I did on the C B in my 18 wheeler.

Shane,
Just a heads up. Lippert's techs were at Quartzsite and did my install. It took about 4 hours as they had to modify the springs to make room for the height of the air bags. He told me what he had to change but I don't recall the specifics.

Modify the springs?

Wow, that sure sounds like fun

Rob,
Not sure what the mod was.....just remember it was a height issue that seemed to be somewhat common. When I dropped it off, I was taking with the tech to get an idea on the installation time...he checked the rig and told me it would be about 4 hours as he had to made some mods for clearance.

One caution I'd like to give you in regards to raising your trailer for the "Center Point" suspension.

I have "Correct Track" on my RL and they had to raise my trailer to get it on. I believe it was around 1.5 inches. I can tell a difference when I level the unit because the levelers are all extended that extra distance and I have to use blocks more than I did before. Also the bottom step is higher off the ground.

Dave it seems like every time you make an improvement it comes at at a cost. It's to bad these I'mprovements aren't done before we buy them
an old man once told me that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
This seems to be the case when we try to upgrade something. go to the doctor and medication has more negative side effects than the disease we are trying to treat
lifes a bitch and then you die

Also remember to double check actual height of your unit after any mods like suspension and tires.
I have black marks on both my A/C units where they re-directed some low powerlines in a campground 2 years ago! Two inches lower and things would have been very bad.
I checked my height and added that into my Rand McNally GPS and check all clearance details when making road trip itineraries.

Well I finally got time to install my Centerpoint today. It took me 5 hrs to install the suspsion and I have a couple hours tommorrow to run the airlines very simple to install. Lift trailer with Stabilizers and all you need is a bottle jack to lift the axle to line up the shackles. To bad it will be another 2 months until we move the trailer.
