Will this winter ever end
So since we got our new rig in October it sits surrounded by foot after foot of snow. Redwood is still working on all the repairs, it's taking forever and 5 months seems like a lifetime just like this crappy winter.I look at it out the window admiring how beautiful it is and it still hasn't left the driveway. Hopefully by March the last of our issues should be taken care of. Steve has had to shovel the roof off we've had so much snow and its snowing as I type this and more to come Monday. All I keep thinking about is how long til we can go someplace warm😪 Connecticut along with a ton of other states as not seen a winter like this in a long time. Hope everyone is fairing well

I think ours did, unfortunately. Almost 70 today. Our evergreens are seeking water and they are talking drought summer.

It's been in the negatives here and wind chill is horrible. We keep taking about moving south to Myrtle but it will be a few years yet.

I spent my 1st 36 years in Alberta Canada so I know where your coming from.
I do miss the 3 seasons down here though. I never thought I would say it but you can get tired of the sunshine. No rain no snow. Seriously though I will take this over 6 myths of winter

When we retired people ask where we were going & I said if I see a road sign "Bridges may ice" we were heading further south.

Char....my heart goes out to you and I certainly understand your feelings. We're under a winter advisory now for wind chill -15.

I feel you pain. We got our RW this past November. I unfortunately cannot keep it at my house, so I keep going to the storage and play around with it when I can.

Char,
I totally feel for you. Have some family in Boston and they tell me the snow is so high they can't see outside the house windows. Crazy winter!
I recall waiting for our rig last winter and it seemed like forever from January when we ordered until May when we took delivery. At the time seemed to go so slow. Now that we are in it and chasing warmth time seems to fly!
It will end and life will go on. Be safe.

C'mon folks!! This is one of the best times of the year to go camping. We were out this past weekend and the RW performed flawlessly...except for some condensation on the front living room windows. And that's because our friends had there two Labs with them. Oh yeah, we had our two Berners! So in actuality, we had eight adults in the camper. When those 50-60mph wind gusts hit, we felt a grunt, but that was about it. My buddy was extremely impressed with how solid the RW felt through that storm. Coming home was an adventure but I waited until later Sunday afternoon for the winds to subside some. Not too bad really, except for one high bridge.

We are in Nashville this morning (Left the Redwood in North Florida CG) it is 14 degrees, tomorrows temp should be 7.
We leave Nashville today and head over to the Knoxville area then to Myrtle Beach on Wednesday and back to Florida on Friday.
Those mid 30 degree temps North Florida is having now will feel great !!!

We live in Brighton Ontario... on Lake Ontario directly north of Rochester NY.
Working today just outside of Kincardine Ontario on Lake Huron directly north of Cleveland... way more snow and just as cold. All local highways were closed here on the weekend due to blowing and drifting snow.
Gotta love Canadian Winter! Grew up in Calgary Alberta where -40 was a regular occurance. Worked a few years in the Arctic where -40 was a good day in the winter.... it was a "dry" cold.
