We keep our stove covers on for transit... only to be removed when cooking , My wife loves that space as counter top... And the sink covers have been in a cabinet for a few weeks now , and I believe thats where they will stay..

The sink covers came off by themselves on a particular stretch of I95 in FL, and have stayed off since. Only minor damage, but easily could have been serious.

We left our stove covers on on our last trip and had no problems with them removing themselves

We've left our stove covers on while traveling over 14K miles. and no problems, but our sink covers, as mentioned in my last post, removed themselves and now travel on the bed.
