Lets stop the conversation.
Ah - you used the "I'll have the last word because I can" routine.

You aren't the Martyr you let everyone think you are Dave. I remember it a whole lot different. The only real peace offering you offered the other site was unconditional surrender. Don't let people forget the only reason we have two forums today is because of you having a tantrum when Redwood gave theirs to AndyR after promising it to you - something that occurred long before most of these folks were here.

So if we can't talk about that, let's talk about why this site is becoming an advertising campaign for Entegra while the moderator for a Redwood site spends a lot of time bashing Redwood. You did nothing but rave about your Redwood when you owned it, which is part of why we bought one (Dory and I), and now your allegiance has run off to some other RV. Still, you hang here to make sure we all know the "sky is falling" in Redwood land as far as your concerned. Why?

The Redwood is a beautiful trailer and from what I'm hearing from those in the industry, they recognize that they made some mistakes. For that reason they've changes the decision makers. If they're successful in changing around things to better serve the owners I believe they'll come out shining as they once did. So far I haven't seen those changes

When people have safety issue like springs breaking after 6 months or even 3 years, while using the RV as it was designed (not overloading) yes there is a problem and to make matters worse the company's first response is "not our fault". Not to mention roof failures or door issues. As I've said many times, all RVs break but the company standing behind the product is the most important issue. Abuse is another problem but from what I've seen these issues aren't being caused by abuse.

As for my rig....I didn't change my signature picture to the new rig instead I've kept it "SOB" for a reason. Yes I do compare RV companies and I'll continue doing so as long as I have an RV. I did steer several people to Redwood because I believed in their mission but that mission changed. I really hope they rebuild their attitude toward the owners.

As for the other site. This isn't my decision. I have to do as I'm asked from the owner of the forum. I was told some topics are off limits and I must abide by their wishes. If I was in complete control a few things I'd change. #1 would be politics because I'm a political junky and #2 discussing prices. Again this isn't in my control. As for a complete surrender, you have that backwards. The owner of this forum was bending over backwards but he couldn't give enough to make the other folks happy. I gained respect for him for his continued effort through the process.

Brad great questions. Dave Great response. It's obvious this is a nuclear topic. I strongly recommend we get back to discussing which is the better truck.

I saw one today! It was brand new compay truck. I couldn't get a picture quick enough. Have they started selling? Maybe it was a test vehicle!

Okay, lets all pretend we're grown ups here and answer the question.
As near as I can tell, the National RW Rally is being organized by members of the "Other Site" with help from RW. And if you're not a card carrying member of that site there is a charge for the Rally.
This needs to get clarified before we have a bunch of RWs show up and get told they're not registered or that they owe money.
So, Kathy can you clarify things before this years Rally turns into the next Zombie movie?????????

Good Morning,

The Redwood Rally is being organized by Jay Cauble with the Redwood Owners Group. They are charging a $25.00 fee for non-ROG members. If you have more questions you can contact Jay at usaf1949@yahoo.com

Thanks!

What's sad is that the rally is for US.. the Redwood owners... But some don't see it that way.. They look at it as a political statement... Jay has worked countless hours on the rally for US... I read the explanation before it was deleted... There was nothing in there that crossed the lines.. It was a well written explanation to the question asked... This makes Redwood look like a joke

So who on this forum has been working countless hours getting vendors and other programs setup for the Rally??????????????????
RW is only a Sponsor of this year's rally as they're not footing the entire bill nor are they contacting outside vendors, some else is doing all that.

The Rally chairperson Jay Cauble and his team... He posted a nice post on here explaining everything and it was deleted.. he is working close to 30-40 hours a week getting everything set up.. all the vendors... all the deals..all the presentations... he set up the campground.. he is arranging everything between Redwood and US owners..
