So just just for kicks and giggles..........

what type of RV do you buy after winning 1.4 billion dollars?

Maybe a couple dozen Cornerstones to hand out to my friends

I don't think you do. I'm pretty sure other than a few exceptions, RVs are a middle class toy. Those at the top just tell the pilot to make a flight plan, and if they ever return to the same place twice, they buy it before they leave.

Probably buy a Newmar King Aire and travel around, parking in Walmart's.

Today I bought my first lottery tickets. Actually had to ask how to do it. The engineer in me tells me I just wasted 10 dollars. If I win, I definitely will replace my kitchen counter tops.

Maybe we would buy out Redwood since the wife works in Quality Control.

The problem is......

I'd take the one time payout of around 850 million and after taxes it would be reduced to around 475 million. I'd still camp and probably build some kick butt campgrounds along the highways for the travelers. So far I've counted around 3 dozen Cornerstones I'd have to buy for friends and family. And I have 4 non-profits I'd start as tax shelters and are needed by society.

You might ask first - some may just prefer the cash. One persons gift may be a burden to others. I have to say it takes a special type to really appreciate RVs, others think we are silly.

Brand new Prevost custom ordered with a matching trailer with lift for the bike jeep and Lamborghini
Then I would buy a farm and keep farming until the money's all gone

I would of course become anonymous and pay off the remaining on our rw...invest in one hell of a rv park that's close to the beach and except mud to high end diesel pushers and fifth wheels...give the option to buy out lots in it and open a full covered storage facility for their down times...that's just to start

I always thought it would be great to have several no-thrill campgrounds along the highways so Rvers could have the equivalent to a Holiday Inn Express. Just a safe place with hook ups and with level pads for quick sleep overs. Low costs around $20-$25 one night only stays.

I'm with you on that Dave ...and I have stayed at a lot of different parks as well....but staying at a higher end park just had Beth and myself at "welcome, enjoy your time" we go to one down in port Aransas Texas every summer for a month and pay top dollar every time. We have gone back and forth at buying a lot their but we are still waiting till the "right one" takes our heart away

Actually, we're looking to buy a lot somewhere in Florida as soon as we find one. I am concerned about the maintenance charges though.

I always rely on the KOA for quick stops, and even though they cater to the families, I consider them a sardine packed no frills stop over that you don't ever try to picnic at. The kind where your neighbors sewer hose is under your picnic table.

What would really be awesome is more sites that are spread out with pull outs and widely separated back ins with a view that I would gladly pay $60-70 a night for. A Donald Trump RV park with a golf course

a custom build 53FT with RW character !and I would for sure open a RV park in WY with actual grass and enclosed wooden walls. maybe even make it TX style and add a hot tub for the full timers.
