Delivery Countdown!We DID IT!!!!!

25 years ago Jay and I saw a couple of work campers in Yellowstone National Park. We said, to each other wouldn't that be fun. Today we ordered our new 2015 Redwood 38GK Black and Silver. Like kids in a candy store we got it all. We are so excited we will be sleeping with the grins on our face's. We are told to expect 8 to 10 weeks for delivery since the factory is catching up on the paint and delivery backlogs. Our retirement date is Oct. 10 which will give us time to work out some expected issues.
We hardly slept Friday night and find we are exhausted from spending so much money. lol Thanks to all of your giving so much good advice and support it really helped us make our decision easier.

Rhonda & Jay - Congratulations on ordering a RW and enjoy your new coach when it arrives. Perfect timing as it should arrive in the middle of summer.

Congrats on your new purchase. My wife and I always thought workamping would be the way to go and we actually workamped in Minnesota for 4 summers. Medical issues and homeownership issues have prevented us from continuing our workamping for the past 2 years but we are hopeful that we can get back into it next year.If you are not familiar with the workamping opportunities you need to check out www.workamper.com.

Yes, not sure why but I was way past my bedtime last night. I got a call from Redwood this past week telling me they would be picking up my coach this coming week to take it to the service center. It looks like everything should be fixed by mid June, which is the time we will be ready to take a small vacation. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Congrats, Carol and I have the 2015 Redwood GK and for the first month we love it. Taking it in for a few minor repairs and then heading to Grand Lake Co. then down to Osage Beach Mo. Then thinking of Ouray Co. Hope you enjoy yours.

Welcome to the Redwood family!!!
Great choice of color scheme, we also have the Black & Silver, though with the old pattern.

Congratulations Jay and Rhonda - I hope it proves to be a better choice over that ol' Big Sky I think it will

We had planned to go with the Big Sky for 4-5 years. Lately they are making major changes to their product line. I think the changes will be good in the long term. In the short term I don't want to be part of the changes. This purchase and retirement are too important to Rhonda and I to be part of Keystone's changes for now. I think RW have their act togather and make the best, nicest and have best customer service. I don't mean this to be a put down to Keystone. I have to buy now and don't want one of the very 1st production models. They don't even have a model for me to look at presently. They forced me to step up to the finest RV made. We feel we made the best decision for us. We are excited to join the RW family and are looking forward to meeting many of you and joining in on some rallys.

One of our 1st trips is to Quartzite in January. Hope to see some of you there.

Jay - In January we will be a couple of hours down the road in Indio. Might take a drive up and check out Quartzite this time.

Congratulations! We took ours off the dealer's lot so we didn't have the choice in color but I always thought the silver and black was pretty cool.

I make the mistake of telling my wife that I can't help but think about our next coach and the changes we'll see at that time. She thinks I'm a little crazy for already thinking about our next purchase. Oh well, it's fun to dream.

I just wonder what they will tempt us with in the future. I just can't see how they can add or do much more. The manufactures are limited by the square footage at present time. Until recently, some of the larger 5er's could not be sold in California because of smaller size limits. California changed that law to allow larger RV's the first of 2014. That maybe the reason RW offered the 36 models in the past is to have something Cali. compliant to sell and now they are going to drop the 36 series line because of Cali. allowing larger units.

Obviously there is a big delay because our coach left the factory more than two weeks ago we are going crazy waiting and have no idea where it is.
