Maxair fan ( exhaust only)

operator failed so replaced, now fan will come on, cover will open but will not lower when fan is turned off so i have to manually close. i have replaced lift motor, pcb, and control ( as well as tried the controller from other fan. When i installed the new pcb the fan comes on and cannot control it, so put old one on it as it seems to work.

one odd thing occurs when i started pulling fuses one at a time ( to stop fan) is that the overhead lights remain on but very dim when i pulled their fuses. kind of like a low voltage back feed??

Some of your lights are also on DC through your batteries. If the power goes out similar to pulling a fuse they will work like you are dry camping and run off your batteries.

Good luck on your repair
