We did not get the toppers, dealer said they cause too much flapping when it's windy so we decided against. We just clean the top of the slides with a blower before closing them.

We opted not to get the slide toppers, the dealer gave us the pros & cons and we decided against, mainly because of the flappingnoisein windy conditions. We just blow off the tops of the slides before closing them.

Thank you! We are fairly new to the RV world. I am a retired teacher of 35 years and my husband still works. Just 4 more years of working on the North Slope for him and then we can really enjoy our Redwood!!

Our new 38RB rolled into Santee
Lakes May 27th. What a
head turner!!!!!!! We spent the rest of the week moving everything in from our
1999 32ft Aluminasape and slept in it the third night, of course our work when
from zero to 10hr days for the next two weeks. Sold our old fifth Saturday and
hopefully things will settle down. Boy talk about a learning curve. Smart
trailer, dam we don’t even have a smart phone. If it wasn’t for our son setting
up the TVs last weekend we would still be listening to our ipod. No work for tomorrow
unless we get a late call so we are hoping to get more stuff put away and organized.
I think the best thing would be to throw more stuff away, but my Old Gray Stud
won’t part with his kitchen stuff and spices. (OMG, the spice rack, one roll
out shelf in the pantry and one compartment in the overhead cupboards over the
chairs full of spices, seriously!!!!!! I won’t even tell you about all of his
kitchen gadgets and appliances, LOL I learned real early in our marriage that
the kitchen was no longer my domain. Married 42 yrs, two sons what an adventure wouldn’t
change anything except watching my weight better. LOL)
Oh! Did I say that out
loud…….. Love this 5th wheel, its like come home. Oh that's right it is home.

Congrats graymare! Just spent a week in ours at the lake and it was awsome. Weathered some high winds, hail, pouring rain, and 5 days of fantastic sunshine and not a leak or a groan. We love it!

We have owned our 2013 Redwood 36FB for six months and have to say we made the right choose. We are very satisfied with our dealer as well. They even through in a couple of extra inspections that they do for all the brands they sell at no charge. Bottom line is if I had my choose I would still buy a Redwood hand down.

We've had our 38BR for 10 days now and other than a few minor issues love it. We will live and I will work in it for the summers. I had the bonus room turned into an office. When we picked up the unit it was in Akron Oh and we stayed within a few miles of the dealership for the first week just in case of issues. They when out of their way to make sure we were taken care of even sent a tech over when we had a leak under the sink. Could be much happier!

So far,Explore USA in Canton, TX has impressed me in both sales and service. I have an appointment tomorrow with service to fix several items that two other dealers would not. The sales manager and salesman are working with us trying to get RW to get us into a new 36RE. It is just a relief to finally have some folks that are willing to listen and step up to make things right.

Yes they were great to us, and still are! Each time they worked on it, it came back washed (and fixed).

Not only is this our first Redwood but also our first RV. With that being said, could anyone please tell us how to drain the water tank? The instructions in the book are not very clear. Thank you so much! Paul and Tanya
