Smile brand new full timers 4001LK

Hello,

My husband and I just sold our house and jumped right into full rv living. We're currently working on fixing a leaky shower and a broken blind in the kitchen. It also seems like one of our hydraulic levelers is leaking in the front, so it's been a very interesting first week... I found this forum because we could not figure out what that 3rd switch down below was for and thanks to you guys I believe I've figured it out. That little fan that goes under the awning (the one we've never hooked up)

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for service locations. We plan on seeing a good amount of the country and all I can find are bad reviews for every dealer I find. We're currently in South Carolina, leaving in a few days and heading to Virginia before continuing up into the Adirondacks for the fall. Thanks in advance for any recommendations

If you can find a Service Center that only works on RVs and doesn't Sell them you will have the best luck, or a good Mobile Service Tech.
There are a few good Service Centers within a Dealership, but they are far and few between. Seems Dealerships are out to sell a product, but not support it after the sale.

Tiara RV sales in Elkhart, Indiana does good service. We’ve also bought parts from them that my husband installed.

Congratulations on your new rig. We have the same rig, color and everything. We also had the same two issues, shower leaking badly and hydraulic oil leaking into the area were all the hoses are. Fixed the shower ourselves. Keystone told us the hydraulic issue was an over tightening of one of the lines. The RV tech they sent out told the shop it was a six hour job, there fore it had to be brought in to correct. We live full time in our rig and don't move it. Keystone didn't want to hear it and we're still going back and forth.
The other issue we had was our rig was delivered with conventional microwave, not a convection microwave. After inquiring with Keystone they told us they had the right to substitute AKA the fine print. Just curious which microwave you have?
We learned one thing real quick, Keystone's customer support is useless.

WE are in NY, if heading toward the Watkins Glen area or binghampton at any time, Jims RV seems to be pretty good, and also Wilkins repair . going toward the adirondacks, just north of Albany, is Albany RV, but they dont have an actual garage to do repairs ( at least last time I checked ) They said they did not have a facility for overnight repairs. You do have Gander RV, which again is part of Campers World , them you can take with a few grains of salt. Alphin House satellite facilities were not very good, never tried the main facility. Barry

Well we joined the Full Timer Ranks yesterday, after having a Weekend long Moving Sale. Last buyer of the day wanted the bed, which made it final.

Congratulations!!!! Once the bed goes there is no turning back😂
Not full time yet since we do still return to the house but roaming the east cost now enjoying life then headed west. So far we have no regrets of moving into the DP. I’m sure when I have to buy tires I will be very sad.

I had been ready for some time, just took 3 years for the other half to finally make up her mind. My folks had a mobile home on my Sister's property, we may look into using it as a Northern Home base.

Not really much change, since we were "Most Timers" before, living in the RW 8 to 9 months anyway. The major difference we won't have a fall back place anymore, but also no School, or Town/County Property Tax to pay.

Same here with taxes! SC is great on primary home but we have a deeded RV lot just for the Tiffin and between the lot and RV taxes it is crazy. I need to get more info on Montana and North Dakota. I had the RW in Crest View FL. But I changed that which was the wrong decision.

We've had everything registered using the Crestview, Florida address for almost 10 years.
Had to have the insurance on the House changed to Seasonal because it wasn't our primary and of course seasonal insurance cost more.
