At least on our 38gk there is a cutoff under the kitchen sink - do use it because as soon as it thaws you will have a mess behind the drawers next to the fridge...

I also have a 38gk and I have concerns about the ice maker. This cut off under the sink, does it by pass the ice maker? I would prefer not to put the pink stuff into the ice maker if I can help it. My RW is new and I haven't had the chance to really look at it. It is in storage right now. Any advice about the 38gk would be very welcomed.
