Lippert Tilt Bed System

so, looking at those pics I sent, the bottom pic is the bed compartment tore apart with the lift head portion in place, just need to add plywood.

You then need to build an aluminum or wood frame to attached on hinges to the bottom part of the tilting head that will carry the mattress

The top pic is of the finished product, 2 aluminum frames joined together at a hinge point with plywood over the 3 sections for the mattress to sit on...

I appreciate it. It is Lippert’s. System. Bought from a couple of places, Lippert, eBay, Amazon . I will be installing it, not really complicated. I was just curious on the Bed portion if there was a metal underneath the wood or they just allowed the wood to slide on the sides.

there is aluminum under the wood.... If you look on the 1st page of this post, Atom Ant posted pictures from a brochure. The frame looks identical to that...
