I saw a new redwood being pulled yesterday. It was obviously being towed straight from factory to be delivered to a new owner. The skirt was already flapping wildly on one side. Hope mine comes in looking better.

Maybe it was just waving as it passed by.
This is an easy fix so don't worry about it. The screws seem to loosen up that go to the "L" brackets. Once they're replaced the problem is fixed.

That shouldn't make a difference, I run along at 80 quite often. I keep telling my wife that I'll slow down when I retire but for now I keep a pretty good pace, usually covering 600 -700 miles a day. In 3 weeks, it looks like I've got to make a run to CA and back in 7 days (4200 miles).

Zowie - not sure I could do 600-700 miles a day. If I did it one day, I sure couldn't the next. In my younger day.... Problem is, I think we are the same age!

We made it the 400 miles home from the dealer with more movement of the fenders than we were happy with, took Dave's advice and repaced all the loose little sheet metal screws out of the L brackets and replaced them with stainless machine screws and nyloc nuts , ours came with the L braces and aluminum braces like the ones in the pictures. No more movement.

I've always spent so much time behind a windshield I guess I got used to it. Some days I'm better than others just because of my health issues.
The prostate cancer seems to slows me down and zaps me of energy when I need it the most.
