Coleman Mach Heater Kit Installation Issue

I installed the heat strip for the Coleman Mach 48xxx series air conditioner according to the directions. There is only one connection to make and I made it, but the unit is still blowing cold air. I have a 2022 Redwood 4150RD with the in command control system. I'm wondering if it requires a separate fuse or an additional wire connected to the control box. There are a couple of dead-end wires inside the A/C unit but the instructions said nothing about having to connect other wires.

Any help is appreciated.

I would guess your thermostat is not connected to turn on heat at the roof unit. honestly don't expect a lot of heat from a 1400 watt strip you're only going to get 5000 btu's out of it. The best money spent is for a heat pump, they put out about 14,000 btu's and still only using 15 amps of power (same amount of power as the heat strip).
