The Ford has a 12v supply through your 7 pin connector but your ignition switch must be in the on position. Chev/Gmc and Dodges apparently keep their 12v active with the switch off.

The battery disconnect switch doesn't disconnect all 12 volt circuits. It was true in my Montana and in the Redwood. Only sure way to stop the draw...
