Many of the boat trailers come with disk brakes...

Many of the boat trailers come with disk brakes from the factory now. I looked at converting mine, but settled for just converting to electric vs surge because of the cost.

I was delighted to see the disk brakes as an option back when we ordered ours - as well as heavier axles and tires. I loaded it up on options and love the disk brakes!

I actually spotted them on...
