If you pull the wet bolts in with the nut on the back side you shouldn't have any pounding/bending, at least it worked for me.

Yes Guy we used the level up to raise the coach & a couple of jacks to manipulate the axles. I have probably 25k+ on mine & have rotated the tires twice, anytime I have them off for maintenance.

Yep! If you have xray vision to see thru that spring hanger. Not to be argumentative!! The bushings do not extend thru the hangers or shackles.

Guy it would be a bit more involved than that, but if you take both nuts off of 1 of the center shackles & remove the shackle on the inside you could clean up the spring eye & check there. On mine...

Just FYI, it's the 3 1/8" shackle kit from Mor Ryde, don't have the part # in front of me right now. Also I don't have to lift the coach now to get them to take grease.

No Guy I couldn't tell by looking, I know now that most of ones that were hard to take grease were plastic (2 were in very bad shape). The bushings on the Equa Flex were bronze & in good shape.

Hey Bruce, mine had brass bushings around the equa flex, but plastic in the spring ends. Be sure to go with Mod rydes heavy shackles & wet bolts, it's a fairly simple afternoon project.
