I've heard to use the rubber mallet and chisel or butter knife, works quick. Won't say who did this and had to buy a new fridge, just to say it wasn't me :-) We also use the hair dryer method...

Just installed mine today. Longer reading the instructions than installing. Went through the drain tube as well. Hope it helps frost buildup and runs cooler.
