Bauer put a new lock on our entry door. They also adjusted the plate on the wall to better match the lock. It is working great now!

We had the exact same symptoms, they replaced our lock...then it worked great. Then our lock broke again, back to hard to open and close. Lisa can't open it most days. But, we expect if they fix...
