"Unlock-able". LP doors fly open on the freeway !

Recently purchased 2018 3901 WB Redwood. I love it....
but..Highly dangerous, Propane doors were slammed shut during departure inspection, but somehow both flew open after entering freeway !
The law don't allow lockable hardware. I got it. But it's also dangerous to try to pull over onto shoulder to close them again.
Why am I posting this?
I want to know if other Redwood owners have had a similar experience?
Solutions are invited.
Thanks
WR

Might check your tank straps to make sure they are snug against the tank and that the doors really latch when closed. My doors never opened during travel, but they did not seem to close 100% due to the rubber gasket causing some binding to happen. Good Luck and Safe Travels!

I also have a ‘18 WB. No problem with the doors. All my doors close and latch securely, well, except for the power cord door.

There's some adjustments on the frame side of the latch, might check to see if it's catching fully, if not slamming harder wont help.

2018 3991 rd here...no issues with doors...however I did have a bad battery converter /charger that was overcharging my batteries which lead to them boiling dry ... had to use a mobile mechanic to fix as the local keystone dealer who customer service couldn’t get to me for weeks..

On the way back from Oregon to Texas to North Carolina last year, we had a propane door come open after I was sure it was latched. Now, after I close them, I press directly onto the handle. Sometimes I hear a click and sometimes I don't.

Our door on drivers side flew open to. I pulled over and shut if firmly, not slam. When we got to destination I WD-40 all of the latches and they seem to be shutting easier.

The propane door on driver's side of 2018 3901 RD also flies open while driving. Used a bungee cord to secure the door until we got off the highway.
