You've got to love these documentaries. You watch for the better part of an hour thinking the whole time you're pretty much toast, then at the end they say, "but it's unlikely to happen for a million years." Still, I don't think I'll linger long at Yellowstone.

Not to talk about doom and gloom, but, "they" say it goes off about every 75,000 years and it has been about 75,000 years since it last blew its top. And, its dome has been gradually balooning up for quite awhile............just say'in!!!

Yellowstone is gorgeous and full of intrigue, it definitely needs to be on your bucket list. Plan on a few days, the park is huge and not a place you can drive through and catch the sites.

Xtasee: As for Fishing Bridge campground, it is a great campground. I have stayed there several times. They have full hookups now. (50 amps). I don't know about pull through sites, I've only seen back-in. Everything is very close, you have to give them exact measurements of your rig and tow vehicle and they will assign you a site. However, I just tried to make a reservation in one of their 40 ft lots and they booked all next season; June,July, August. Next year is their Centennial. I made a reservation in West Yellowstone instead.

Well, if the volcano puts out as much ash as they say it will, the world will go into another ice age. Good thing our RW's are well insulated

We will be going to Vancouver BC next April for a week to attend a wedding. Can anyone suggest an RV park near there. In looking at park reviews, the common thread is tight RV sites, and some near train tracks. The best that I am seeing right now is Capilano RV Park, although a bit pricey. We do need to be relatively close to city center.

"Near train tracks" describes most every park we've stayed in the last 8 years.

Train Tracks depend if it's a train every 15 to 20 minutes or once a day.

Was a whole new definition of train tracks and noise when trying to sleep at MorRyde. LOL
