Slide Issue Continues

Let me ask another question, the living room slide goes down to level with the floor when fully open. There appears to be a plastic foot on each end of the slide. Is this what helps the slide go up over the lip when retracting?

It appears that something is binding when trying to come over the lip and one of those plastic feet turned sideways. There is not enough room under the slide on the inside to see how that is attached. I can turn it by hand.

What else helps the slide come up in the front? Last time I just got lucky after several attempts to retract it.
