Well the next big step....I just got home from going to the campground picking up the old trailer. Now it's time to empty the old girl out and then give her a bath. I'll check her over for the final ride in a couple of weeks. We have to travel about 6 hours to pick up the new Redwood and trade in the old one.

I'll have to say I'm sure looking foreward to the new Redwood but as I walk through the old trailer it sure has brought some good memories. For a cheep trailer (2004 30ft. Grand surveor) it has served us well and unlike most trailers in it's class it has been all over the country. I've had it down in Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, upper UP of Michigan, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansasand I'm sure I'm missing a few states. I only hope that the Redwood serves as as well.

You must think positive Dave you know the Redwood will serve you much better and make you more comfortable doing so.

You're lucky, we're living in our Montana so we'll have to transfer everything from one unit to the other. And try to find space for everything. It's taken us several years to get to the point that we sort of know where everything is, now we have to start all over again, oh well a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

The move is very well worth it. I want to take off and travel, but work keeps my feet on the ground, for now. It will be great whether it is now, 1 year from now or 5 years from now.

We had so much stuff accumulated over past few years that my wife started sorting a disposing of in needed stuff the day after we ordered our FL so it shouldn't to bad when we make the move.

And if you're like me you'll find stuff in the move that you forgot you ever had or what it was for. Last year I bought a new lantern and I still can't figure out where I put the thing.

In your business I wouldn't think it would be hard to sell..How much are you going to be selling it for?

I'm not sure the Nada says it is worth 46000 but the dealer says they are having a hard time selling used rigs of my size so they only offered 80% of wholesale so i kept the Montanaand I'll sell it to some else for a good price so they can start their adventure, I'll make my money back and some one else will get a smokin deal on a really nice 5er. why let the dealer make all the profits.

I've been cleaning out our old trailer getting it ready for the trade-in. I've been looking for a LED spot light that I bought about 1.5 years ago and only used it one time. I've torn the camper apart looking for that light and finally just decided that I had left it at a camp site. Well you guessed it....I found that damn thing...I'm still finding things I forgot I ever had.

Many wonderful reasons to be happy getting a new rig but one is we finally clean things out and find lost items or get rid of stuff we have not used in years. Can't wait for the extra room to get a little more stuff to fill it up. HAHA
