Open the electrical box on the hitch and check the connections. I did this over the weekend and one wire fell right out of a wirenut, it was likely loose and possibly arcing... If that isn't bad enough it was the white power wire to boot.

checked wire nuts as best as I could on the side of the road, and yes, brake lights and turn signals were all that were lost...

Thankfully, we were just across the DFW metroplex at The Vineyards in Grapevine, Tx so the wife was able to follow me home in her car and 'block' for me...

Actually, after watching it the last couple of days, I think it is working better than what it was before. There is no more cycling on and off, blowing cold air, and such. It now comes on, blows mostly heat, and kicks on and off less. I have noticed only a degree or two difference with the other thermometers in the Rv now.
