I am also wondering about this "overflow" valve....

I am also wondering about this "overflow" valve. I don't think I have seen this before and I am not sure what it's actual function is. Are we disabling something critical by putting the shutoff on?...

I guess I will just add a shutoff valve for pex...

I guess I will just add a shutoff valve for pex line on my list... This seems pretty silly. Like a hose was just not trimmed the right length or something.
