I know he is wanting to add a generator. But on his 2nd line he stated he bought a nice used unit with 1 year left on the warranty.

According to The Redwood site, The remainder of the original 2 year warranty can be transferred one time to a new owner with their form and $250. When we bought our unit it was already 2 years old...
