All I can say about up or down is the filtered...

All I can say about up or down is the filtered black mesh shade that fell off the roller in the bedroom... and this was the smallest shade in the rv :)

we tried to reinstall,as did the dealer, but...

IMHO -
The key to the old and new blinds is when towing or in storage put them up....

the old folding blinds stay creased this way and it's less strain on the strings...
the newer blinds are...
