FYI - I did and had deleted them more than once...

FYI - I did and had deleted them more than once --- and just to let u know - i do be a 'softwear injin' and just do that to support my rv habit - so have a feel for this somewhat :)

shut down browsers to clear cache after ensuring...

shut down browsers to clear cache after ensuring default subscriptions was set to do not subs...
and went back in and it's still building subscriptions....

pretty familiar with vBulletin websites having been on them for 10+ years...
and had deleted all subscriptions yesterday.... but they came back :)

changed the default 5 minutes ago...

Looked in profile and options,
but did not find a place to
disable auto notification on subscriptions nor
a place to disable auto subscriptions...
